We are delighted to invite you to participate in the 19th Congress of the European Sleep Research Society which will be held at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre, Glasgow, Scotland, UK on 9 - 13 September 2008.
The British Sleep Society is proud to host this meeting on behalf of the European Sleep Research Society (ESRS). The European Sleep Research Society is an international scientific non-profit organisation and promotes all aspects of sleep research and sleep medicine. These include the publication of the Journal of Sleep Research, the organisation of scientific meetings, and the promotion of education and training, the dissemination of information, and the establishment of fellowships and awards.
Glasgow is one of Europe’s most vibrant and cosmopolitan cities. Widely recognised as being among the world’s most exciting cultural capitals, it is a friendly city, where the people are proud of their heritage and delight in making visitors feel welcome.
The 19th Congress of the European Sleep Research Society follows on from the successful meetings in Innsbruck (2006), Prague (2004), Reykjavik (2002) and Istanbul (2000). Held every two years, this is the major event in the calendar for all those involved in sleep research and sleep medicine, providing a unique opportunity to learn of the latest developments in this rapidly changing and expanding field.
We are looking forward to a very successful Congress; one which reflects our strategy of mixing science and topical issues with the latest advances in technology, medicine and research, to create an integral event that offers something for everyone.
We look forward to seeing you in Glasgow next year.
Yours sincerely
